Deputy CEO Appointments in IMC Corp Group
Singapore, 1 April 2008 – IMC Corp Group
is pleased to announce the joint promotion of both Kim
Kyung Soo and Eng Aik Meng as Deputy CEOs of IMC Corp
Group, with effect from 1 April 2008.
Mr Kim, as Deputy CEO, will have primary responsibility
for all shipyard, drybulk shipping, and ship management
businesses within the IMC Corp Group. He will also continue
in his current role as Managing Director, Unithai Group
(Thai arm of the IMC Group). Mr Kim first joined IMC in
Busan, South Korea in 1982, and in the last 26 years,
has taken on a number of senior leadership positions within
the IMC Group in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand.
Mr Eng, in his new role as Deputy CEO, will have primary
responsibility for IMC Corp Group’s industrial logistics,
ports and consumer logistics businesses. He will also
spearhead developments in new markets and new growth platforms
for the Group. Mr Eng joined IMC Corp Group as Chief Operating
Officer (COO) in July 2007 and has led various strategic
developments for the Group across the region. Prior to
IMC, Mr Eng had a fourteen-year stint with Neptune Orient
Lines (NOL)/American President Lines (APL), managing its
Asia/Middle East and Australia markets, among other positions
of responsibility.
